09:04 pm - Project S is go (again) As you may or may not know, my shuttle's power supply has gone the way of space shuttle Colombia (Terrible I know, but its okay I'm buying a new power supply) Due to some nice sale prices recently on newegg, I've decided to finally go dual core with that recent sale on the mobo combo and with a new and higher wattage PSU I'll have parts to make into a new computer, of course as I write this i'm realizing I need to buy some more ram as I only have 2 1GB kits but for now if I don't buy it yet I'll just yank it out of the ricer when I'm not using it. Whenever this stuff ships and I put it all together, photos will of course follow. Current Mood: poor

11:02 am - So tired Had a long night last night, thought i'd be going to just eat dinner with some buddies from the Bistro after work and I'd be able to go home. Little did I know that I would end up getting home at 2 AM, didn't even get to do my daily quests in wow, poo. Now I just gotta make it through today and try not to fall asleep until I get home tonight. $60 down the tubes from dinner last night, it was good and all but god damn, these people like to drink. 01:18 am - Asian Festival Info Guys, before I start, I want to thank you all who will be coming to help out tomorrow, Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you Thank you. Also like previous times, because of bitchy county health inspectors you'll be required to wear something to cover your head, a cap preferably, because if you don't, you'll have to wear that weird showercap-looking hair net thingy they provide. The festival is supposed to start at 10, I'm gonna be there most likely around 7-8am to set up so yeah plan accordingly. Though I highly doubt anybody who plans to help tomorrow will be reading this but the main thing is to give info to some folks who happen to be reading this when they wake up tomorrow and have nothing better to do than to read my journal and come to check out the festival. Info about the thing itself can be found at their craptastically built website at www.asianfestivaldc.com, the events look decent and its bigger than last year. Again we're selling bubble tea and my aunt's selling smoothies and some other food. That's it so i'm gonna go help out with last minute stuff and try to see how much sleep I can get. 02:52 am - Middle of summer post Hey so uh lots of things to cover in little attention span to the journal so here we go with the highlights. - AX was quite good as it consisted not only of Jack but Kp, Pedro, and Lisa again - Being in CA meant driving on big highways with 24 hour carpool lanes, AI, good dimsum and other Chinese food, more AI, that ASOS brigade invasion tour thingy with all the Japanese female voice talents performing, too bad I know Billy, you would have enjoyed that. - AI gets its own point here. IIDX GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLD My apologies to the others for my insane amount of wanting to go there so often. - As you may or may not know Otakon is next weekend and i'm not going because the Asian festival on the 21st, that's a saturday. Also ROLL CALL on people who would like to come and help out, my mom and I would be ever so grateful for any assistance (free labor) we can get, but really we'll feed you and there's all the bubble tea you can handle. -ATTENTION any one else who thinks they're going, I still have the hotel room at the Hyatt reserved for Otakon, I can have it transferred to you but as you may know the Hyatt is rather expensive, but the most convenient and probably best hotel in the vicinity as you get what you pay for. Otherwise, I will cancel within the next day or so. As for the gaming scene, I finally opened up one of my two copies of San Andreas and played for maybe an hour or so now, its okay I guess but I still prefer Vice City, I still play too much pangya and hit Senior A this week, in WoW I'm still seriously undergeared and to make matters worse chris takes my damn hourglass, god I hate you <3.
